Who We Are
Who We Are
The North Texas National Service Alliance is a collective of regional AmeriCorps programs and organizations committed to building a better community through national service in the following areas: capacity building, education, mentorship, natural disaster, housing, food access and recovery, veteran support, poverty fighting, economic development, and so much more.
Collectively, we have over 1,500 AmeriCorps members annually who devote anywhere from three months to a year serving their communities with their time and skill. Our AmeriCorps members serve in nonprofits, schools, and community and faith-based organizations.

City Year Dallas
What We Do:
We are working to address the lack of equitable access to educational opportunities. Our City Year Dallas AmeriCorps members partner with teachers and schools to add more support and to help create learning environments where all students can build on their strengths and fully engage in their learning.

Equal Heart
What We Do:
Equal Heart's mission is focused on alleviating hunger and support people in times of adversity. Equal Heart collaborates with other non-profits to increase services in various focus areas to our targeted communities by placing AmeriCorps members to serve.

Generation teach
What We Do:
The vision of Generation Teach is to end racial injustice and inequity in education.
Our mission is to co-create loving communities where generations of students, teachers, and leaders learn, grow, and develop. We are developing new generations of diverse teachers & leaders.

Project Transformation north texas
What We Do:
PT North Texas is a Dallas-based nonprofit that provides out-of-school time programming for 1st-12th graders in under-resourced neighborhoods of Dallas & Gainesville. Our AmeriCorps members lead the out-of-school time programming in both our afterschool & summer programs.
